For Convening (we must remember the beauty of sharing each other’s wits)
For Care (within me there are many homes)
This installation explores the transmission of ancestral knowledge through spatial transformation, integrating material practice and performance-based ritual.

Leisure Archive
This project investigates leisure through a hybrid virtual and physical environment, combining a WebVR space populated with 3D scans of domestic objects and figures drawn from historical Korean imagery. These figures, depicted engaging in leisure activities while wearing VR headsets, are echoed in digital embroidery within the physical installation, creating a dialogue between historical representation, contemporary technology, and embodied experience.

Untitled
This project employs animation and Chinese shadow puppetry to produce a short film addressing climate change and the environmental impact of human activity. A traditional scene of a woman floating down a river is recontextualized against imagery of factory emissions and rising sea levels, establishing a contrast between cultural continuity and ecological crisis.

MA Project
This project examines emotional relationships to motherhood and nurturance, situating the desire for comfort within the increasing presence of digital care systems. Centered on an AI-driven “virtual mother” chatbot, the work includes an immersive, life-sized womb installation that evokes safety and intimacy through spatial and sensory design. The project raises questions about outsourcing care to digital systems and the cultural construction of emotional needs.
Fall 2024, Design III–A: Design for the Digital Realm
Rutgers University–New Brunswick
This project explores text as moving image through the production of a music video. Using karaoke as a framework for social engagement, the work considers large-scale screen interaction and audience experience.

This project explores the internet as a creative medium through the design of a website. Using subcultures as a framework, the work examines how visual and textual systems are structured and navigated within a screen-based environment.
Spring 2025, Design II–B: Experimental Computation
Rutgers University–New Brunswick
This project presents a nonlinear interactive poem that explores the internet as a creative medium. Using worldbuilding as a framework, the work investigates the navigation of visual and textual elements within an interactive interface.
